AVADER

AVADER Student Research Group was established at the turn of 2014/2015 and works together with the Embedded Vision Systems Team at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. Our interests include embedded vision systems and hardware acceleration of vision algorithms. We carry out research and projects related to autonomous cars and drones, as well as LiDAR sensors, event cameras, neuromorphic computing and artificial intelligence. In our works, we often use reprogrammable FPGA systems, Zynq platforms or embedded GPUs. Our members take part in national and international competitions, e.g. NOKIA FPGA Hackathon or Xilinx Open Hardware, as well as in scientific conferences. We also support students in the implementation of their engineering and master's theses.
