AGH Solar Plane

AGH Solar Plane is a Students’ Organization existing under the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at AGH University of Krakow. Our goal is creating an unmanned, autonomous airplanes powered by solar energy, which can maintain flight both during the day and at nighttime. While fulfilling our vision, we focus on promoting alternative sources of energy and integrating them with cutting-edge technology. Our main focus areas are: Computer simulations of aerodynamic models, development of new technologies for manufacturing composite components, development od photovoltaic cell lamination technology and modules based on microcontrollers, development of proprietary flight surveillance software for unmanned solar aircraft and using artificial intelligence to analyze data collected during the flight
