AGH Rapid Prototyping

We bring together students interested in prototyping new solutions and additive manufacturing. We implement interdisciplinary projects focussing on issues related to mechanics, automatics, robotics, electronics, and programming. We pay special attention to the functionality of the prototypes we create, carefully selecting the manufacturing technology and materials. In our day to day work we put into practice the knowledge acquired during studies. Our members are able to develop their skills by participating in grant projects and pursuing their own ideas. We provide substantive assistance in finalizing bachelor and masters thesis. In recent years, we have implemented projects such as "Expansion of an automatic 3D printer farm. Expanding the laboratory by a recycling line for prototypes designed as part of diploma theses by AGH students", "Development and execution of a prototype of a personalized prosthetic foot using 3D printing technology, taking into account material and durability issues" and "FDM robotics - analysis of the potential of using 3D printing in the educational process and in scientific projects in the field of robotics”. We are not afraid of challenges and believe that there is no problem that cannot be solved by teamwork.
