The AGH Marines students scientific association deals with the broadly understood underwater robotics. As part of the association's activities, we are developing technologies used in underwater robots such as thrusters, propulsion screws, and control systems. Projects of underwater robots carried out by the members of out team include remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). The work encompasses issues ranging from mechanical engineering and advanced methods of designing mechanical parts, through electronics and embedded programming, to high-level artificial intelligence software for autonomous systems. AGH Marines also participates in international underwater robotics competitions, as well as in conferences and scientific events.
